Colt Technology Services Expands Transatlantic Network for Enhanced Connectivity Between Europe and North America
We’re excited to share that our partner, Colt Technology Services, has bolstered one of the busiest data routes in the world with its new fibre optic network connecting subsea cable landing stations on the U.S. East Coast to key data centers. This infrastructure build promises faster, more reliable, and secure connectivity for businesses across the Atlantic, unlocking new growth potential between Europe and North America.
In this first phase, Colt’s network is now live from subsea landing stations in Long Island, New York, to data centers at Hudson Street and 8th Avenue in New York City. The full rollout, expected by mid-2025, will ensure low-latency, high-capacity pathways for enterprises on both sides of the Atlantic, supporting advanced digital services, cloud applications, and data-driven growth in an interconnected global economy.
Colt’s new infrastructure also offers improved network performance, designed to deliver maximum value with seamless end-to-end connectivity through Colt’s own subsea cables. Backed by Colt’s commitment to customer-centric innovation, this expansion reaffirms its position as a leader in digital infrastructure across some of the most critical global routes.
Stay tuned for further updates as Colt advances to the next phases of this ambitious build, enhancing connectivity and digital infrastructure for international businesses.
